Rhode Island Newborn Photographer | Baby Silas

Welcome to the world, Silas! I had the honor of capturing his first days of life with newborn photos that will be treasured for years to come. Silas was joined by his parents and big brother for a family portrait session that celebrated the newest addition to their family. It was a sweet time filled with joy, laughter, and lots of love!

Preparation

When mom and dad reached out for their newborn photography session for baby Silas, I was beyond excited. I immediately started to prepare for the session and make sure everything was perfect for the family.

I went through their questionnaire to get an idea of their desired style for the photos. They wanted natural and timeless portraits with a mix of family portraits with mom, dad and big brother. With that in mind, I gathered all of the necessary props, wraps and backdrops that would help bring their vision to life. I made sure everything was neutral and ready to go so that the focus would be on Silas and his family.

When it was almost time for the session, I got the studio set up and made sure it was nice and warm to keep baby Silas comfortable throughout his photos. I also got my camera ready to capture all of the precious memories and made sure all of my lighting equipment was properly set up.

I was ready and excited to meet this beautiful family!

The Results

The results of this newborn session were absolutely beautiful! We started off the session with a family portrait, with mom, dad, and big brother all snuggling baby Silas. We then moved on to capturing some adorable sibling portraits of big brother and his little brother.

The detailed shots of baby Silas’ tiny hands, feet, and nose were so sweet. I also set up some props to incorporate while I captured some of his more peaceful moments. To finish off the session, I captured a series of portraits of baby Silas with different colors of fabrics that beautifully showcased his delicate features.

All in all, this was a very successful session and it was so wonderful to capture these memories for this beautiful family. I am so pleased with the results!
